3 dead, many injured as luxury bus plunges into Lagos river

A fully-loaded luxury bus plunged into Owode river in Lagos State Friday morning.
The bus carries plate number Anambra GDD 386 YE
DAILY POST gathered that three of the passengers were killed on the spot.
Many others have been rescued from the river.
The luxury bus which was coming from the south east is owned by GUO Transport Company.
Rescue efforts are ongoing.

Five Killed In Rival Group Clash In Ile-Ife A fight between two traders of different ethnic groups is reported to have caused the fight. Reports say that intense fighting between two opposing communities in Sabo are of Ile-Ife in Osun State has claimed five people. An eyewitness confirmed the deaths in the raging fight on Wednesday. The mayhem is reported to have been sparked by a disagreement between the two rival communities. Soldiers and police men have been drafted to the area at the moment and are trying to manage the situation.
